After buying lots of products, supplements and e-books, I finally found a way to lose 33 kg, and keep it off!

Congrats!! Exercise really is necessary – so many people don’t have time to do it – I’m lucky to be a stay-at-home mom (took me awhile to figure out that I’m lucky and not cursed, but that’s another story). NOw I play tennis and do cardio and pilates and while I haven’t lost tons of weight I have toned and feel better and more energetic. I also feel it is important to eat healthy – cooked at home foods. We have a large garden and eat great all summer and can as much as possible to eat well in the winter. Until people realize that there is no magic pill or diet that will “fix” you right up there will continue to be this yo-yo effect that leaves you more unhealthy than before. As a biologist I knew that Atkins was (long term) bad news as is any diet that is impossible to maintain and that cuts out big portions of any food group. The key is to eat in moderation, exercise, get good sleep, and eat food that is healthy – end of story!
